About the role
- The Financial Analyst is responsible for accurate financial reporting and planning for all of HSDM and oversight of core financial activities in collaboration with the HSDM Finance Team.
- Monitors, reviews, and approves department transactions in B2P, Concur, GL-PCR salary journals.
- Liaises with the HSDM grant team on sponsored activity and transactions.
Responsibilities
- They will provide support and analyses that relate to HSDM operations, policy development and documentation, process analysis, management tools, and compliance.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience
Nice to have
- Excellent technical skills including in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis and reporting tools.
- Working knowledge of financial administration principles, compliance workflow, and business processes.
Skills
- Strong financial skills, attention to detail and the ability work independently.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with professionalism and a customer service mindset.
- Understanding of Harvard University financial process, chart of accounts, and supporting tools valuable.
- Ability to successfully pass a comprehensive background check at hire.

Compensation
