About the role
- Please note, that this position is contingent upon the award or funding.
- Responsible for successful project implementation.
- Operates the program according to established policies/procedures and within stipulated budgetary confinements.
Responsibilities
- Serves as a focal point and provides program management guidance and expert support for the contract.
- Acts as a technical advisor and implements processes and procedures for effective program management.
- Organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of all contract-related projects and support activities including those of subcontractors.
- Demonstrates knowledge of contract analysis, contract compliance, document processing, quality control, database management and records management.
- Develops program management competencies through training and coaching.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and apply comprehensive solutions to client requirements/issues and to work with a wide range of government departments having diverse business needs, interests, expectations and requirements.
- Ability to implement effectively "best-in-class" concepts/principles within the areas of planning, scheduling, budgeting and operations for successful achievement of project goals and objectives.

Requirements

- Regularly required to sit.
- Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects, and operate tools, computer, and/or controls.
- Required to speak and hear.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Nice to have
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
- Eight (8) years project/program management experience preferred.
- Eight (8) years of government contracting experience preferred.
