About the role

  • About Vantage Data Centers Vantage Data Centers powers, cools, protects and connects the technology of the world's well-known hyperscalers, cloud providers and large enterprises.
  • Position Overview This role can be based remotely.
  • The Senior Manager, EHS Quality Assurance, Global is responsible for ensuring that Vantage's global EHS standards translate into consistent, effective execution across all business lines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of critical control verification strategies (e.g., HRA / SIF prevention focus).
  • Partner on post-incident reviews (not leading investigations).
  • Support rollout of key initiatives such as new technology or program launches.
  • We work to build each other up and support one another, appreciating each other's strengths and respecting each other's weaknesses.

Nice to have

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in EHS program development, assurance, or systems leadership.
  • Proven track record designing and implementing enterprise-level EHS programs and management systems.
  • Deep experience in audit, compliance, and assurance frameworks (ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 preferred).
  • Equally deep experience in collaborative leadership and influencing behavioral change.
  • Strong understanding of risk-based EHS systems and high-risk activity frameworks.
  • Demonstrated success operating in a global, matrixed organization.
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into practical, field-usable guidance.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders across Construction and/or Operations environments

Skills

  • Must have current working knowledge of OSHA regulations and standards, and other global regulatory safety standards is highly encouraged.
  • Must have familiarity with consensus standards such as those published by ANSI and NFPA.
  • Strategic thinking with strong execution discipline.
  • Independent, self-directed, and highly organized.
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-track programs simultaneously.
  • Strong presence and communication skills in professional settings.
  • Operates effectively with ambiguity and change.
  • Familiarity with Procore & Power BI a plus.
  • Travel required is expected to be up to 10%, global travel may be required.

Compensation

  • Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
  • $155,000-$165,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)
  • Our hard and efficient work is rewarded with an above market total compensation package.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental, Health and Safety or a related degree in science/engineering discipline with coursework in risk management or safety is preferred, but not required, depending on experience.
