About the role
- The Operations Supervisor will provide a high level of leadership to ensure customer, team member, and vendor satisfaction.
- Provide leadership necessary for achieving plant and corporate goals in the area of Production, Safety, Quality, Employee Relations, Performance, and Cost for their assigned shift.
- Responsible for the successful attainment of production objectives, execution of policies, and most effective utilization of available resources on their assigned shift.
Responsibilities
- Supports employees by coaching, mentoring and assisting in resolving mechanical malfunctions to increase productivity, job capabilities, and equipment capabilities.
- Establish and maintain a positive work environment including but not limited to maintaining the open-door program and resolving simple to moderate workplace concerns.
Requirements
- Ability to move throughout all areas of the facility including but not limited to office, production, and warehouse environments.
Skills
- Understand and respond appropriately to basic to complex employee, vendor, and customer inquiries.
- Ability to operate facility equipment as required in assigned area.
- Satisfactorily complete all company training requirements.
- Responsible for reporting to work in a condition to work.
- Responsible for completing all assigned tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
- Requires 1:00pm to 9:00pm, additional hours based on business need. (Rotating days off)
