About the role
- Engage with employees on employee relations matters, cultural initiatives, and day-to-day process development and improvement to provide a work environment conducive to success
- Comfortable in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and always evolving startup environment
Responsibilities
- Partner with internal teams at Willow Wealth (such as Finance and IT) and external vendors to optimize our processes
- Collaborate with recruiting on the hand-off from candidate to end-to-end onboarding experience
- Partner with external counsel to follow appropriate HR practices in compliance with the law regarding hiring and terminating
- Help develop, implement, and enforce policies that are compliant, practical, and aligned with the culture and environment we have created for our employees and to support the business
- Manage the physical office space, including handling building work orders, lunches, snacks, and related administrative work
- Reporting to the Director, People Operations, you will have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the HR team and help drive company performance and goals forward through a people-first approach.
- The confidence to collaborate and challenge stakeholders for the right reasons when appropriate
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- High emotional intelligence, and an ability to navigate and discuss challenging but important topics with tact
Nice to have
- 3+ years of work experience in various areas of HR (recruiting experience a plus)
Skills
- Strong organizational skills and detail-orientation
Compensation
- The base salary range for this position is USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
