Responsibilities

  • EOSS provides a broad range of services and support to students and prospective students ranging from outreach efforts with K-12 schools, orientation programs for new freshman, bridge programs to assist the transition to a university environment, and a wide variety of services, programs and activities for enrolled students.
  • The Associate Director plays a pivotal role in inspiring and leading a team of professionals, students, and community partners to drive impactful social initiatives.
  • The Associate Director will empower the students and staff of SCC with opportunities to become leaders within student clubs and organizations, support advising of Programming and Activities Board, and have oversight of the Downtown student engagement experience.
  • This role will support the overall operations of Student Clubs and Organizations University-wide, supporting over 1,000+ Clubs and Organizations across ASU.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field including two (2) years managerial experience
  • however, incumbents will be required to travel to off-campus events and other ASU campuses to perform work driving their own vehicle.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of strategic planning principles and practices, including problem solving and decision-making.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of planning, analyzing and coordinating activities and establishing priorities.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of both verbal and written communication.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of establishing and maintaining effective working relationships and working collaboratively towards institutional and divisional goals.

Compensation

  • $70,000.00 USD Annual
  • $65,000.00 to $70,000 per year; DOE
