Responsibilities
- Build and maintain long term relationships with external art vendors
- Manage external artists and provide feedback
- Manage the external art vendor schedules, deliverables, and day-to-day communication
- Develop the external art pipeline into a highly efficient workflow that maintains quality while meeting budgetary constraints
Requirements
- 3+ years as an Outsourcing Manager or Art Manager in the video game industry
- Ability to solve complex production problems efficiently
- Strong time management skills with ability to multi-task while meeting deadlines
- Ability to communicate well both written and orally
- Track status of art assets and provide supporting materials required for production
- Previous experience managing vendors or external teams
- Knowledgeable of art content production pipelines
- Ambitious and passionate about quality results
- Comfortable in a dynamic work environment where there are many changes and iterations to improve the game.
