About the role
- Our product portfolio includes a range of automation solutions, including robots, vacuum systems, and atmospheric robots for semiconductor manufacturing ( www.brooks.com ).
- Work arrangements may include a mix of in-office and remote work, depending on the nature of the role and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of vacuum chambers, frames, subassemblies, vacuum and nitrogen lines and precision mechanical components.
- Create and update 3D CAD models, drawings, and assemblies using Creo.
- Perform engineering calculations and basic analysis including Structural, Modal, O-ring Compression.
- Support system builds.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, controls, manufacturing, and systems engineering) to ensure seamless system integration.
- Provide engineering support throughout the product lifecycle-from early concept design to final production release and shipment.
- Perform and contribute to Design Reviews, Peer Reviews, and Concept Reviews.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of experience with a solid understanding of engineering fundamentals: statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, materials science, and mechanical design.
- Experience with 3D CAD CREO is required.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
