About the role
- Participate in all aspects of the deal process, and concurrently work on multiple assignments.
- This role is based in our New York City office full-time.
Responsibilities
- Independently cultivate and maintain relationships with capital sources, counterparties, and sponsors so as to source new transactions, sources of capital, and secondary market opportunities
- Conduct market research and data analysis to identify new opportunities and support development of products and credit standards
- Develop materials for internal and client understanding of transactions, market conditions and opportunities, as well as new prospect marketing materials
- Develop and present written analyses, modeling, documentation and presentation materials in support of investment opportunities
- Collaborate with Portfolio Mangers to ensure prompt and accurate transaction surveillance throughout the lifecycle of an originated product
- Develop a deep understanding of Guggenheim Investments investment strategies and clients including investment guidelines, regulatory capital considerations, regulators, and Guggenheim's internal policies and procedures
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
- 5+ years related experience in real estate investment management, including 3+ years of real estate fundraising experience
- Detailed knowledge of Municipal sector, market operations, challenges and opportunities
- Proficiency in Bloomberg, Aladdin, Python, and Microsoft Office
Nice to have
- Pursuit of CFA if not already achieved
- Strong project management and organizational skills, capable of prioritizing and managing diverse workloads under tight deadlines
- Expertise in driving standardization and optimization of processes and deliverables
- Strong and strategic relationship management skills and experience overseeing client relationships from an operating perspective
- Problem solver, positive attitude, be curious as to how processes can be improved
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without current or future visa sponsorship or transfer.
- $170,000.00-$175,000.00
Compensation
- Annual base salary between
- $170,000.00-$175,000.00
- The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position.
- The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
