About the role

  • This is a highly cross-functional role requiring both deep business transformation fluency combined with some technical fluency and client-facing leadership experience.

Responsibilities

  • The Director of AI Solutions will lead the design, development and deployment of AI-driven capabilities within TDP as well as help in these efforts across TDP's portfolio companies.
  • Develop and prioritize use cases with clear ROI
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, partners and consultants to ensure alignment, quality and on‑time delivery
  • Support development of reusable AI accelerators and capabilities
  • Drive standardization across portfolio use cases

Requirements

  • Experience delivering AI/ML or data platform solutions in production environments
  • Strong understanding of modern tech stack:

Nice to have

  • Experience at top-tier consulting firms (McKinsey, BCG, Deloitte, etc.)
  • Exposure to private equity, portfolio operations or multi-site environments
  • Experience with GenAI / LLM applications

Skills

  • Cloud (Azure, AWS or GCP)
  • Data platforms (Databricks, Data Lakes, ETL pipelines)
  • Excellent communication skills with executive presence
  • Located in (or ability to re-locate to) the greater Chicago area

Compensation

  • Highly competitive compensation consisting of base salary and performance bonus with opportunity for meaningful equity ownership over time.
