About the role

Responsibilities
- Preparing and filing formal documents in a timely manner with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
- Composing correspondence, reports, memoranda and legal documents
- Creating and editing documents, memos, presentations and spreadsheets
Requirements
- Must have experience with the preparation of formal documents for USPTO patent filings and with maintaining U.S. patent application files
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization with tact and diplomacy
Nice to have
- 3-5 years prior experience preferred as an executive or legal assistant in a large law firm or large corporate environment
- USPTO electronic filing experience a plus
- 1-2 years required
- Experience with CPI and IPDAS a plus Knowledge of international procedures and requirements preferred
