About the role

Greenhill's New York based Investment Banking group is seeking an experienced Investment Banking Vice President to join its M&A team.
This group works across industry sectors and primarily focuses on M&A transactions.
A Vice President is expected to understand the implications, identify key industry and product trends and provide input on pitch and deal materials to enhance the ultimate deliverable to our clients.

Develop and prepare client presentations and materials with a focus on quality, accuracy and timeliness

Knowledge of corporate finance, securities, financial markets and risk & pricing analysis
Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to convey ideas
Ability to work independently and must be able to work effectively in a team environment
Proficiency with FactSet, CapitalIQ, Bloomberg, Microsoft Office
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6 years investment banking, corporate finance, and M&A experience with a top tier investment bank OR an MBA concentrating in Finance and a current Vice President (or equivalent) at a top tier investment bank
Aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information and develop innovative ideas and/or product solutions
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Maturity and good judgement in handling confidential and sensitive information
Creativity and intellectual curiosity

Conduct extensive quantitative economic, industry and company research and analysis
