About the role

  • Waldorf School of the Peninsula (Preschool - Grade 12) is celebrating it's 41st year of bringing Waldorf education to Northern California.
  • Our school has two beautiful campuses: Preschool through grade 5 in Los Altos and a few miles away in Mountain View are grades 6-12.
  • Our school is a full member of and accredited by the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America and fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

Responsibilities

  • Communication and Reporting - Produce forms, letters, and relevant documents for program and camp implementation. - Maintain program and camp databases and provide summary reports for stakeholders. - Collaborate with faculty and administration to share student observations and improve participant experiences.
  • Additional Responsibilities - Manage extended care during staff development days and teacher/parent conferences. - Attend to other duties as assigned to support the success of programs, camps, and the school community. - Provide support to the Early Childhood, as needed, during non-Extended Care hours (typically between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM).

Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit
  • The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, twist, stoop, crouch, kneel, bend over at the waist, grasp, reach overhead, push - pull, and move, lift and/or carry 20-50 pounds to waist height.

Compensation

  • Depending on experience, certification and education, the hourly range for this position is $ 28 - $30.
