About the role
- This role works with cross-functional teams at Global Headquarters to ensure smooth store operations and new product launches while maintaining high customer service standards to achieve targeted productivity and profitability.
- Oversee inventory management, including store orders, stock replenishment, and maintaining adequate levels of store supplies.
- Ensure accurate handling of cash processes such as petty cash and cash envelopes.
Responsibilities
- To manage a trendy design-forward concept store located in downtown Toronto!
- Support all aspects of daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, scheduling associates and managing bi-weekly payroll.
- Maintain organized and functional back-of-house areas including stockroom and breakroom.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and effective action plans to increase sales.
- Partner with Marketing to maximize store potential through execution of in-store events, promotional initiatives (e.g., Design Deal of the Week), and development of social media and customer outreach efforts such as sneak peek communications.
- Lead onboarding processes including delivering store training programs and maintaining welcome packages for new hires.
- As a Brand Ambassador, demonstrate leadership and promote a positive brand image by upholding Company goals and values while building a strong, engaged team culture.
- Coach and develop retail associates to provide the highest level of customer service while creating a friendly, professional shopping atmosphere.

Requirements
- strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and POS systems and understanding of scheduling systems and sales analytics are necessary
