About the role

This role is critical to ensuring rapid incident response, maintaining business continuity, and continuously improving security operations.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with proven leadership skills and thrives in environments requiring quick decision-making and adaptability.
The salary range for this role is from $123,700.00 to $204,100.00.

Responsibilities

Drive measurable improvements in efficiency and security outcomes

Nice to have

o Check Point and Cisco ASA firewalls
o Proxy solutions
o Web Application Firewalls (WAF)
o Zscaler (preferred)

Skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including use of metrics and data
CCNP Security
Or equivalent certifications
Strong collaboration skills across technical and non-technical groups
Experience providing strategic and operational guidance
Reduced incident response and resolution times
High uptime and stability of security infrastructure
Strong stakeholder trust and communication during incidents
Continuous improvement in team performance and operational effectiveness
Work in a mission-critical security leadership role
Collaborate with top-tier engineering and security teams

Compensation

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations.
