About the role
- Our client, a leading global specialty chemicals company, has exclusively retained Solutus Legal Search to assist its executives in hiring a sophisticated attorney to serve as Global Employment Counsel.
- This role will be located in the Company's U.S. headquarters in Radnor, PA.
- This attorney will serve a critical role in leading the company and its global parent through complex employment and labor law matters.
Responsibilities
- The Global Employment Counsel will manage sophisticated, high-impact legal matters while partnering closely with senior business leadership and managers across the company.
- Proactive problem solver who can manage multiple priorities and drive matters to resolution.
Requirements
- understanding of business needs and the ability to align legal strategies accordingly.
- strong legal reasoning, judgement & negotiation skills, with the ability to analyze and creatively solve issues.
- Strong academic credentials, including a J.D. or equivalent degree from a well-respected U.S. law school.
Nice to have
- 10+ years relevant working experience, with strong training at an international law firm.
- Prior in-house experience strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of U.S. federal and state employment laws.
- International experience is a plus.
