About the role
- This is a revenue-generating role focused on closing strategic accounts and driving revenue growth.
- You will report directly to the Head of GTM, operating with autonomy while helping shape Unit's go-to-market presence in the region as we scale.
- This role is based in San Francisco and requires a strong in-person presence across the Bay Area.
Responsibilities
- Own the full commercial lifecycle across complex, consultative deals, from discovery and solution design through negotiation and close. This role focuses primarily on advancing strategic opportunities, including enterprise accounts.
- Drive pipeline creation and revenue execution by leveraging your network and acting as a trusted advisor to founders, investors, and partners in the fintech and vertical SaaS ecosystem.
- Represent Unit in the market through ecosystem engagement, founder conversations, partner sessions, and key industry events.
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing and Product to develop demand generation strategies and translate market insights into product direction.
- Design and iterate on the sales process and GTM playbook, shaping messaging, qualification criteria, and pipeline development.
- Own the full commercial lifecycle across complex, consultative deals, from discovery and solution design through negotiation and close.

Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in a customer-facing or ecosystem-facing role.
- Strong relationships across the Bay Area startup and VC ecosystem, with the ability to generate opportunities through network-driven introductions.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
Nice to have
- Experience in management or strategy consulting is also highly valued.
- Backgrounds from firms such as BCG, McKinsey, Bain, or similar consulting practices with fintech exposure are a plus.
