About the role
- Navigate carrier portals to complete bind orders efficiently.
- Process paperwork and follow up on outstanding documentation.
Responsibilities
- Support the team with binding processes.
- Set up and maintain files, including importing documentation as needed.
- Collaborate with carriers to resolve questions and disputes.
- Provide general team support as needed.
- Continuously build knowledge of the industry and the role of wholesale within it.
Requirements
- The position is responsible for handling endorsements, gathering and organizing required file information, and maintaining strong communication with agents and carriers to resolve questions and obtain necessary details.
- The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, with a foundational understanding of insurance processes and a desire to grow their knowledge of the industry and the wholesale brokerage space.
- BA/BS degree in Business or Risk Management.
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in a related field or similar role.
- Knowledge of insurance and policy issuance systems.
- Gather and organize required information to complete files.
