About the role
- Job Description Summary Organization's Summary Statement: Under general supervision, functions as a team leader for a multi-trade team.
- Work at this level is typically associated with leading journey-level work in a combination of structural trades and lower-graded mechanical trades.
- Shift: Tuesday through Saturday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of and skill in the methods and techniques of the trade(s) where assigned
- Thorough knowledge of and skill in the practical application of electronics, hydraulics, and mechanics as used in maintenance work
- Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, schematics, drawings, and specifications
Skills
- General knowledge of the principles of supervision in the maintenance trades.
- Skill in the use and maintenance of the tools and equipment of the trade(s) where assigned.
- A non-commercial Class C or equivalent driver's license valid in the State of Maryland may be required.
- Employees in this job class may be required to be trained to work with asbestos.
- Supervises and trains assigned personnel; assigns specific tasks and evaluates results.
- Participates in performance evaluations and recommends areas for individual training and development.
- Inspects completed job assignments for adherence to trade standards.
- Prepares requisitions and obtains materials needed to complete assigned projects. Ensures cost-effective use of materials allocated.
Compensation
- $51,069.00 - $61,283.00
