Job Description Summary Organization's Summary Statement: Under general supervision, functions as a team leader for a multi-trade team.
Work at this level is typically associated with leading journey-level work in a combination of structural trades and lower-graded mechanical trades.
Shift: Tuesday through Saturday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

Comprehensive knowledge of and skill in the methods and techniques of the trade(s) where assigned
Thorough knowledge of and skill in the practical application of electronics, hydraulics, and mechanics as used in maintenance work
Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, schematics, drawings, and specifications

General knowledge of the principles of supervision in the maintenance trades.
Skill in the use and maintenance of the tools and equipment of the trade(s) where assigned.
A non-commercial Class C or equivalent driver's license valid in the State of Maryland may be required.
Employees in this job class may be required to be trained to work with asbestos.
Supervises and trains assigned personnel; assigns specific tasks and evaluates results.
Participates in performance evaluations and recommends areas for individual training and development.
Inspects completed job assignments for adherence to trade standards.
Prepares requisitions and obtains materials needed to complete assigned projects. Ensures cost-effective use of materials allocated.

The successful candidate must complete employment eligibility verification (on Form I-9) by presenting documents that establish identity and work authorization within the timeframe required by federal immigration law, and where applicable, to demonstrate renewed employment authorization.
