About the role

You'll be spearheading a critical shift in how The Christian Post reaches its audience.
Our readers increasingly expect and seek video content.
You'll help transform our editorial excellence into visual stories that educate, inform, and engage Christians seeking to understand the times - and the faith implications of what's happening in the world.

Collaborate closely with editorial leadership, reporters, content strategists, and stakeholders to understand story intent and deliver on strategic objectives
Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously without sacrificing quality or strategic intent
A strong eye for pacing, storytelling, and what makes short-form content perform - combined with the ability to execute long-form work with depth

A passion for news, current events, and their cultural/spiritual significance (not required, but valued)
Strong understanding of current social video platforms and what content performs well on each
Flexibility in style - you can adapt to serious news moments, faith-based storytelling, cultural commentary, and urgent breaking stories
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; DaVinci Resolve a plus
