About the role

  • Job Context The Account Executive is responsible for managing and growing sales.
  • The Account Executive will work closely with prospective clients to identify their needs and provide solutions that align with Simpro Group's offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve sales targets.
  • Build a strong network of contacts within the Territory and establish a robust pipeline for future sales.
  • Customer Acquisition & Relationship Building:
  • Prospect new clients through various channels, including cold calling, partners, networking, referrals, and industry events.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, contracts, and opportunities in CRM systems.
  • Collaboration & Support:
  • Work closely with the marketing team to implement campaigns and promotions.
  • Collaborate with sales engineering, implementation, account management, and other internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience and to meet customer requirements.

Requirements

  • The ability to identify opportunities and successfully convert those into revenue.

Skills

  • A demonstrated track record of selling in SaaS or the trades industries (ideally both)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Clari, etc).
  • Have a driving license and reliable car that can be used for business purposes.
  • Typically has 5+ years' experience in B2B sales or account management, preferably in SaaS industry.
  • Track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is advantageous.
