  • The Facility Security Officer (FSO) is a critical leader responsible for overseeing and administering all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) at our Boise facility.

Requirements

  • conduct interviews, document findings, and submit required reports to government agencies
  • Ensure proper posting and dissemination of security notices, advisories, and required regulatory information
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial security, COMSEC, or compliance-related roles
  • At least 3 years of experience as an FSO or AFSO within the NISP environment

Nice to have

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Demonstrated experience managing or supporting a COMSEC account preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing or government contracting environment preferred

Skills

  • Intermediate knowledge of Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) and other security systems
  • Strong working knowledge in MS Office Suite (Advanced Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc)
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Demonstrable experience developing and delivering training programs
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Strong teaming skills
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Be flexible, adaptable, able and willing to modify activities and direction with an ever-changing business environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and work ethic
  • Possess a professional attitude and promote the same in others

Compensation

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive security education, training, and awareness programs, including required annual NISP and COMSEC briefings for cleared personnel

Visa & Work Authorization

  • Department of Defense Security Clearance at the Secret level or higher and have a proven track record managing classified programs in a regulated defense or government contracting environment
