About the role
- The Commercial Business Operations team is the connective tissue and operational backbone of PitchBook's Commercial organization.
- We sit at the intersection of strategy and execution - close enough to leadership to understand where the business is going and embedded deeply enough in day-to-day operations to help get it there.
- We believe the space between strategy and execution is where the most important work happens.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end program management for Commercial initiatives and evergreen programs, including scoping, planning, milestone tracking, risk management, and reporting
- Build and maintain program dashboards and tracking systems, providing regular status updates to Commercial stakeholders
- Identify and proactively manage risks, blockers, and scope changes across programs
- Serve as the Commercial workstream lead within company-wide programs and strategic initiatives
- Own the global Commercial knowledge infrastructure including the strategy and governance of the Commercial intranet site and resource centralization across teams and leadership levels
- Support the evaluation and adoption of tools, technologies, and practices that enhance program delivery
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional work experience, including 2+ years in program management
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear status updates, executive-ready documentation, and program materials for diverse audiences
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Ability to build and maintain program dashboards, tracking systems, and status reporting frameworks
- Ability to work cross-functionally and build trusted relationships with stakeholders across teams
- Operate with a strong sense of urgency and deliver results
Nice to have
- Experience owning knowledge management or resource centralization initiatives (intranet sites, decision logs, or similar) is preferred
