About the role
- Actively engage with cybersecurity practitioners across Reddit, LinkedIn, X, Discord, Slack communities, industry forums, and other professional platforms.
- Serve as a trusted resource by providing thoughtful, technically accurate responses to security-related questions and discussions.
- Represent ThreatLocker as a knowledgeable and approachable cybersecurity expert.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with ThreatLocker Labs and internal security teams to understand and communicate emerging threat activity.
- Develop technical content including threat advisories, research articles, blogs, whitepapers, webinars, videos, and social media content.
- Support thought leadership initiatives by providing expert commentary on current cybersecurity events and industry developments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, threat intelligence, incident response, security engineering, or related technical roles.
- Strong understanding of modern cyber threats, including ransomware, malware, living-off-the-land techniques, privilege escalation, lateral movement, and endpoint attacks.
Skills
- Track evolving adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) using industry frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.
