About the role

  • Position Details - Academic Personnel & Faculty
  • The University of Washington Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology is seeking a full-time ARNP or PA at the rank of Teaching Associate.
  • The Platinum Inpatient ARNP/PA-C is a nurse practitioner or certified physician assistant who provides evaluation and medical management to inpatient medical oncology and hematology patients at the University of Washington Medical Center (UWMC).

Responsibilities

  • Performs complex and problem-focused H&P's
  • Performs procedures including bone marrow biopsy and lumbar puncture according to licensure, credentialing, and scope of practice.
  • Collaborates and consults with other disciplines and services.
  • Documents patient care data in accordance with the UWP policies.
  • Performs complex and problem-focused H&P's; rounds daily with team and attending physician.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program required.
  • Washington state & DEA licensure required at time of credentialing
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required
  • Disclosure is required under Washington state law.

Nice to have

  • One year of ARNP or PA-C experience strongly preferred.
  • Hematology, Oncology, or Inpatient experience strongly preferred.

Compensation

  • $10,917 - $16,788 per month ($131,000 - $201,456 annually) commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination.
  • This range is inclusive of base salary provided through the UW Physicians (UWP) practice plan in addition to base salary provided by the University.
  • Please note that only compensation provided by the University is included in University benefit determinations and calculations.
  • Compensation provided by UW Physicians (UWP) practice plan may provide eligibility for separate benefits offered by that organization.
  • $131,004.00 annual Pay Range Maximum:
