Responsibilities
- Own the new hire coordination process end-to-end, from adding new hires into our HRIS to sending welcome communications.
- Partner closely with IT, Workplace Operations, and Recruiting to make sure every new hire has everything they need for their first day
- Maintain accurate employee data in Rippling, ensuring that new hires, terminations, job changes, and other lifecycle updates are reflected correctly and on time
- Generate and send employment verification (VOE) letters and other standard HR documents with accuracy and care
- Support the broader People team with projects, process improvements, and whatever else comes up (and things will come up)
- The first step in our journey is to build the best tool for professional programmers, using a combination of inventive research, design, and engineering.
Requirements
- You have 1-3 years of experience in HR coordination or, People Ops, or a similar administrative/operational role
- You are genuinely detail-oriented: the kind of person who catches the typo, double-checks the date, and notices when something doesn't look right
Benefits
- You have experience with HRIS systems (bonus points for Rippling)
- Run new hire orientation: greet employees on day one, guide them through onboarding, and make sure they leave feeling set up for success
