About the role
- Are you a Are you a Masters level student seeking your second year Internship or Field Placement for Winter 2022?
- This is an UNPAID position BUT a stipend may be provided contingent upon performance!
- We also consider qualified candidates regardless of criminal histories, consistent with applicable federal, state, and local law.
Requirements
- Must have completed Psychopathology, as well course work related to Clinical Diagnoses and Treatment Planning
- Must be willing to submit to and pass federal, state and Child Protective background check
- Ability to obtain or show proof of current CPR and First Aid Certification
- You are a talented graduate student with 1-year experience providing psychotherapy
- You work well with diverse populations
- You have an ability to work collaboratively with Agency staff
- You have strong communication and writing skills
- Applicants must be willing to commit to 20 hours per week on site, regardless of graduate school program requirements and be available for weekly clinical supervision during traditional business hours.
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited graduate level behavioral health program
- Must obtain and provide proof of student malpractice insurance
- Must commit to a minimum of 1 evening per week

- You take initiative, are skilled in time management, problem solving, crisis intervention and multitasking as part of a therapeutic team
- You have basic knowledge of mental health diagnoses (psychopathology), treatment modalities, DSM-5 Criteria and terminology
