About the role
- Resolves patient issues, processes patient correspondence, and completes assigned work queues.
Responsibilities
- Provides a wide range of support to patients for the registration process to include financial counseling, verifying insurance, and initiating authorizations.
- Provides back-up support for patient registration.
- Cross trained to support two or more other areas within the department.

- 2 years Revenue Cycle experience (Required)

- Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) - National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM) (Preferred)
- CRCR - Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) (Preferred)

Skills
- Requires strong problem solving skills, high attention to detail and an aptitude for learning.
- Able to read and interpret Explanation of Benefit (EOB) and assist with questions.
- Requires knowledge of outside billing and collection vendors, along with financial policies to apply charity.
- Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA)
- National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM) (Preferred)
- Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) (Preferred)
- Revenue Cycle Certifications (CHAA or CRCR) within 1 Year (Required)
Compensation
- $18k-$24k

- $18.20 - $23.68/HourlyActual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
