About the role
- Job Description The candidate will be responsible for the calibration of EBAD's gauges and for providing backup to the Receiving Inspection area.
- The role is expected to spend 70% of a typical week supporting calibration, 30% supporting Receiving Inspection.
- Salary is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
Responsibilities
- Perform calibration on all gauges that are calibrated internally.
- Accurately record the results of those calibrations. Manage in flow of gauges to and from external calibration sources.
- Develop new calibration procedures and revised existing procedures as needed.
- Support Receiving Inspection (RI) with the inspection of incoming parts and materials.
- Maintain accurate, neat and complete inspection records
- Perform additional duties related to specific area assignments when requested.
Requirements
- Required experience includes:
- Must be familiar with ISO/AS Quality System requirements.
- Must be able to read and interpret Geometric Dimension and Tolerance (GD&T) or to learn GD&T.
- Must have at least 3 years of experience working with Calibration tools.
- Must be able to read and understand military specifications and industry standards.
- Must be able to read and understand English.
- Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of management.
- Must have basic PC fundamentals, knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.
Skills
- Six Sigma Green Belt through ASQ, CQE/CQM Certification program is a plus.
Compensation
- $50,000 - $80,000 per year. Salary is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
