About the role

Under the supervision of the Operations Manager / Area Supervisor the incumbent is responsible for operating a loader to assist with snow removal and other winter maintenance tasks.
The pay for this position is $28.00 hourly.

Webber supports a wide range of project models to meet client needs, including traditional design bid build, design build, alternative delivery models and public private partnership (P3) solutions.
Webber also has an in-house engineering services department to help optimize building efficiency and quality while solving complex project challenges using field experience, innovative construction methods and BIM technology.
Collaborate with team S upervisor and other team members to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Ability to work in an environment in which demands and priorities change rapidly.
You must have the ability to recognize hazards inherent in routine and non-routine tasks and make adjustments to avoid loss, injury or accident.
You must be able to communicate with co-workers' safety instructions.
You must be able to think clearly and focus on your safety in your immediate surroundings, while using tools and equipment, while driving or operating equipment.
You will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate to your job

Operate loader equipment safely and efficiently for snow removal and other winter maintenance tasks.
Clear snow and ice from roads, sidewalks, bus stops, and any drainage components in accordance project specifications.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Assist with de-icing and salting operations as needed.
Report progress and any obstacles encountered to the supervisor.
Traffic control setup and removal
Transport crew and equipment to work sites
Required to be available for emergency response rotations as needed for overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Utilize cutting-edge tools like Microsoft Copilot to enhance your productivity and efficiency.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Successful completion of training in traffic control methods, first aid, transportation of dangerous goods, WHMIS and job-related aspects of Occupational Health.
