About the role
- Issuing, inventory and other staged materials as requested
- Receiving materials delivered by vendors for replenishment of inventory, future unit outages, and other maintenance, engineering, and Operation's needs.
- Locating and placing items in their appropriate storage locations and updating system records.
Responsibilities
- Working with vendors helping to manage and audit VMI orders
- Performs cycle counts, verifying each item's authenticity and quantity, and reports any and all variances discovered to the Material Control Supervisor.
Requirements
- Knowledge of computer systems: Windows environment
- fundamental working knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel are required.
- Experience in SAP would be an asset as well.
