About the role
- The Solution Engineer III is responsible for bridging the technical gap between our solution offerings and the needs of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Partner with project managers to recommend, plan, and execute development implementation tasks in alignment with client objectives and develop recommendations for mitigating project risks.
- Perform debugging and root cause analysis for custom solution issues, including documenting troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- At least 4-6 years relevant work experience
- Proficiency with SQL and relational database concepts
- Experience architecting custom interfaces or integrations based on technical and vendor specifications
Nice to have
- Experience with Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) and related file-transfer processes
- Exposure to or experience with IBM RPG
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed
- Must work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information
- Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time
