Ensure unit is operating at target rates and production is on-spec.

Operators make required rounds to ensure proper equipment operation and to perform required visual and olfactory inspections.
Draws raw material, unit stream, finished product and shipping samples as required by the unit sampling schedule.
Essential functions require presence in the workplace on a regular basis and an ability to work extra hours if needed.
If applicable, ability to work overtime may be needed to ensure required staffing capacity to meet daily production objectives.
Participates in and completes company required training programs.
What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?
Associate Degree in Process Operating Technology or 5 years relevant operations experience in a petrochemical or refinery setting is required.
Must have or be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
Must have a level of proficiency with Internet, Email and Microsoft Office programs.

High School Diploma or equivalent is required, Associate Degree in Process Operating Technology is preferred.
