Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases, including stored procedures, views, indexes, SQL scripts, and supporting database components.
- Build and optimize ETL pipelines and data workflows using SSIS, SQL Server, Python, and/or PySpark.
- Lead or support large-scale data conversion and migration efforts, including data cleansing, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance.
- Develop data ingestion and transformation processes across raw, staging, curated, and analytics data layers.
- Create and maintain logical and physical data models, including entity relationship diagrams (ERDs), for application and reporting needs.
- Build and support reporting solutions using SSRS and Power BI.
- Provide production support, including participation in on-call support as business needs require.
- Partner with technical and business stakeholders through Agile ceremonies, code reviews, development activities, releases, and knowledge-transfer activities.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining stored procedures, SQL scripts, views, indexes, and database components.
- Data modeling, database design, and data integration practices.
Requirements
- Required Technical Experience
- 10+ Years of Experience
- Candidates should bring 10 or more years of experience in database development, data engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.

Nice to have
- Experience supporting high-availability or business-critical applications in a government, financial, or legal environment is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of DevOps and source-control tools-such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, or Jenkins -is also preferred.
- Candidates who have worked successfully in Agile delivery environments and can communicate effectively across technical and business teams will be especially well suited for this role.
