About the role
- About the Opportunity: RhynoCare is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to work in Long Term Care facilities in Brampton, ON.
- You will be hired and onboarded with RhynoCare as an Independent Contractor.
- Position Overview As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to residents while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the well-being and comfort of all patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform excellent clinical assessments combined with sound clinical judgement/diagnostic and treatment skills - within full scope of practice as defined by the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders as well as work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage crises in an effectively, professional manner.
Requirements
- Requirements College of Nurses of Ontario registration in the Extended Class, Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BScN); Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) with a Nurse Practitioner specialization preferred.
Compensation
- $80k-$90k

- Conducts health assessments by using various tools and techniques based on resident needs.
- Selects appropriate interventions from a range of non-pharmacological and pharmacological interventions to restore or maintain resident functional, physiological, and mental stability to achieve optimal health.
- Dedicate 80% of the NP's time towards direct care to residents, and 20% to research and providing education to improve resident care.
- Ability to work with flexibility for potentially evenings or weekends participates in providing after hours and on-call coverage.
