Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Capability Acquisition, Automation, and Digital Engineering to enable robust, efficient, and scalable manufacturing solutions.
Requirements
- Associate's degree with 4+ years of engineering experience, OR
- Bachelor's degree i with 2+ years of engineering experience, OR
- Master's degree, OR
- In lieu of a degree 6+ years of engineering experience
- To be considered for this opportunity, you must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
Nice to have
- Experience with the machining of Ceramic Matrix Composite Components or Aerospace Components with coating operations.
- Experience with quality and validation requirements including PFMEA, MVA, FAIR, APQP, and PPAP.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing best practices is strongly desirable.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification with completed projects.
- Experience with Manufacturing Systems (CAD, CAM, CAPP, Manufacturing Execution System, Manufacturing Intelligence, SAP, Technical Publications, etc.) relevant to the business.
- Experience supporting or coordinating the implementation of automated processes, such as working with automation Engineers or operations teams.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of process capability analysis, including the ability to calculate and interpret key metrics such as Cp, Cpk, Pp, and Ppk.
Skills
- Learn and understand the existing R&D process developed at our HTC site.
- Drive improvements in manufacturing throughput, cost, and reliability.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with scaling.
- Work cross-functionally to integrate automation and digital tools into the production process.
- Act as a liaison between the R&D and production teams to ensure effective knowledge transfer and alignment.
Compensation
- $98,566 - $160,169-Annually
