About the role
- In this role, you'll evaluate and underwrite personal lines insurance policies (home, auto, renters) while ensuring compliance with company standards.
- You'll work closely with agents and clients to provide accurate and timely policy decisions.
- Review and assess personal lines applications to evaluate risk.
Responsibilities
- Document underwriting decisions and maintain risk management standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of personal lines underwriting experience.
- Strong knowledge of home, auto, and property insurance products.
Nice to have
- Experience with underwriting software (e.g., Applied Epic, Vertafore) preferred.
Compensation
- 45,000.00 - 50,000.00 CAD per year (Ontario)
