- Experience working in journalism, media, advocacy, public affairs, political communications, or nonprofit communications.
- Existing relationships with journalists, producers, media outlets, and industry contacts.
- Experience supporting executive communications and public-facing leadership.
- Passion for investigative journalism and independent media.
- This individual will serve as a key voice for the organization, managing media relations, public messaging, strategic communications, and reputation management.
- Draft and oversee press releases, public statements, media advisories, talking points, and executive communications.
- Coordinate media outreach surrounding investigations, major reports, events, and organizational announcements.
- Work closely with James O'Keefe and senior leadership to ensure consistent messaging and strategic communication priorities.
