About the role
- TYLin is seeking is seeking a 4 month Intern with an academic background focused in Civil Engineering and an interest/focus in Traffic or Municipal Engineering to join our TYLin - City Solutions team.
- This position will be based in our Toronto, Ontario office.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of transportation impact studies, functional plans, and multimodal corridor concepts, complete streets design, and active transportation plans for urban streets, corridors, and public realm environments.
- Provide support for project packages, such as high-level AutoCAD quantity take-offs and Class C and Class D cost estimates, etc.
- Support the preparation of graphics, maps, and presentation materials for planning and urban design studies.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to efficiently prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also able to effectively collaborate in a team environment
Requirements
- Currently enrolled towards a bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering
Nice to have
- Prior experience in preparing transportation studies and functional servicing reports a plus

Compensation
- As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $23.00 - $26.00 hourly for this position and local market.
