About the role
- Depending on where developers connect, they may be on the hook to pay millions of dollars to upgrade power lines, substations etc.
- Your work will directly accelerate renewables getting built.
- Nira operates in the niche world of Grid Interconnection, which means as a SWE, you'll get to learn about how new renewables get connected to the grid.
Responsibilities
- This work could include rolling out new regions, adding new features or even building brand new products out.
Nice to have
- 4+ years as a SWE.
- Mission-oriented and focused on working on climate.
- Excited about working with Transmission Engineers.
- Operate well in ambiguity and able to take ownership over large pieces of work.
- Capable of rolling with the punches
- plans change at a growing startup.
- Python experience is a plus
