Perform routine preventive maintenance per schedule and MMM (Manufacturing Maintenance Manual) procedures for assigned tool set.
Document routine preventive maintenance on PM checklists, record data if applicable and maintain completed checklist/history in tool logbook.
Document routine preventive maintenance and unscheduled failures on Resource Viewer and Forum Notes equipment manufacturing tracking system and database
Provide inputs to Shift Manager, Lead and/or Equipment Engineer to improve PM cycle-time, tool availability, quality/workmanship, reduce wafer scrap and cost of ownership.
Support Tool Owner and Equipment Engineer to define and write preventive maintenance procedures.

Technical degree in Engineering or Science field, Military experience, or Semiconductor Industries experience.
Must have excellent mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Experience with Wafer Fab Metrology Equipment covering Photo, Thin-films, Plating, Etch, and CMP areas.
Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
Shift and overtime, as required by the team.

Mid-Level Equip Maintenance Tech
UHV e-Beam Systems such as: FEI CERTUS-P2, FEI-CERTUS-P1, FEI8XX, Verity-II, Verity-5i, G5GEM, G2SEM, etc.
Optical Systems, such as: Archer Overlays, Zygo-Unifier, Wyko-HD8100, ODIN, AFM, and Optical Inspection Systems, etc.
Experience in Magnetic Metrology Systems such as: BH-Loopers, MOKE, Capres-CIPTs, ORM, etc. will be a Plus.

Compensation & Benefits Details

The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado and New York.
This range may be modified in the future.
If your position is non-exempt, you are eligible for overtime pay pursuant to company policy and applicable laws. You may also be eligible for shift differential pay, depending on the shift to which you are assigned.
You will be eligible to be considered for bonuses under either WD's Short Term Incentive Plan ("STI Plan") or the Sales Incentive Plan ("SIP") which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance, depending on your role and your performance.
You may be eligible to participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents, pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan.
