Identify and execute cost optimization opportunities while maintaining brand standards and service quality.

Responsibilities

Partner with department leaders to forecast procurement needs, align priorities, and ensure timely sourcing that supports operational goals across the property.
Develop, evaluate, and manage a network of vendors and suppliers, ensuring strong partnerships, competitive pricing, and consistent product quality.
Lead vendor negotiations, contract management, and performance reviews to drive accountability, service reliability, and cost efficiency.
Collaborate with Finance and senior leadership to establish, manage, and forecast procurement budgets, ensuring alignment with financial targets and operational needs.
Implement and monitor inventory control systems, including cycle counts, audits, and reporting to ensure accuracy and accountability.
Lead, train, and develop purchasing and receiving team members, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and operational excellence.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and manage vendor partnerships.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
Proven ability to lead independently, make sound decisions, and drive results with minimal oversight.

Requirements

Strong understanding of procurement strategy, inventory management, vendor relations, and cost control practices.
Proficiency in procurement systems, inventory platforms, and Microsoft Office (particularly Birchstreet).
