About the role

  • Job Description: Assembly Operator - SLO At Pentair, you will work alongside passionate problem-solvers who are committed to the future of our planet.
  • We have an opportunity for an Assembly Operator to join our San Luis Obispo, CA team.
  • You will be doing assembly or ozone generators by following detailed instructions (blueprint) and steps for the process, while making sure that the quality and production is being maintained.

Requirements

  • Steel toed shoes are required on the distribution floor.
  • Must be able to read blueprints, tape measures, and any other documents to help with the assembly process.
  • Must be able to keep up with production pace and create quality parts.
  • Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 50lbs.
  • You will be using small hand tools and power tools for the assembly process.
  • Must have basic math skills, ability to speak and read basic English, and be able to stand for your entire shift. Basic computer skills are a plus.
  • 1st shift: 7am to 3:35pm, Monday through Friday

Skills

  • Assembly of ozone generator components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies
  • Verify specification by measuring completed component.
  • Cutting PVC piping to length and preparing and glue into assemblies
  • Position parts and sub-assemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
  • Possible bullets about what skills they need or what they will be doing.

Compensation

  • The hourly pay for this role is: $21.00/hr.
  • Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
