- Taking a role in processing new investment opportunities, ranging from market assessment, to competitive positioning, to initial underwriting and deal structuring;

- Performing ad-hoc analysis to support transaction negotiations; and
- Providing hands-on support to portfolio companies.

Requirements
- 3 years of investment banking or private equity investing experience or 3.
- 5 years of experience at industry companies or consultants in target GIP sectors (energy, transportation, digital, and/or water and waste);
- Bachelor's degree with strong GPA from a leading university;
- Ability to learn new concepts quickly
- Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week.
- Team-oriented, highly motivated, entrepreneurial, demonstrates intellectual curiosity, strives for excellence, and displays high integrity, professional maturity, and good judgment. Successful candidates will have:
- 2 - 3 years of investment banking or private equity investing experience or 3 - 5 years of experience at industry companies or consultants in target GIP sectors (energy, transportation, digital, and/or water and waste)
- Passion for investing, particularly in infrastructure
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Superior analytical, financial modeling, and accounting skills
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- High level of professionalism, collaboration, and self-awareness.
- For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$130,000.00 - USD$150,000.00. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.

Compensation
- For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$130,000.00 - USD$150,000.00.
