About the role
- When called-in, time and a half pay rate will apply, in addition to shift differentials/weekend rates (where applicable) Overstaffing can occur in this unit.
- When cases are done for the day, staff goes home.
- However, OT is also common due to on-call responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- The RN is accountable for his/her own professional development and practice within the scope of care defined by law.
Requirements
- A nurse who is returning to the acute care setting after five or more years may be required to provide evidence of successful completion of a refresher course.

- FT 36 Hours per week (0.9 FTE) FOUR nine-hour shifts M-F (0630-1600 or 0730-1700, mix of both) (one rotating weekday off per week- So, your day off differs weekly) ONE weekend on-call every 4th-6th weekend (Fri 5p-7a, Sat & Sun 7a-7a, 24hrs
