- Runs test packs sterilizer load and records results. - Receives and cleans soiled instruments and other usable patient supply items in decontamination area.
- Assembles packages and sterilizes all instruments and equipment. - Sorts all sterile items, stores in proper place, and organizes sterile supplies.
- Identifies inefficiencies and inaccuracies, responding appropriately.
Requirements
- Performs related duties as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Sterile Processing certification required through IAHCSMM or CBSPD.
- American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required.
