About the role
- This will require making trade-offs between performance, cost, reliability, and component availability.
- You will provide technical guidance and direction while troubleshooting complex power issues.
Responsibilities
- Design and validate board power to meet the requirements of orbital deployment.
- Develop and execute test plans for upcoming power designs and document procedures, plans, and specifications.
- Collaborate with power supply vendors to develop power supplies that meet our requirements.
- Perform design reviews of schematics, BOMs, layout and routing.

Requirements
- Hands-on experience with system level power delivery network design, analysis and validation.
- Familiarity with power distribution and strategies in PCBs and systems
- Familiarity and fundamental understanding of lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, electronic loads, and frequency response analyzers.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with enthusiastic cross-functional project teams.
- Proven experience in complex analog design DC-DC power conversion.
- Schematic capture, PCB layout and circuit simulation tools experience.
- Self-motivation - candidate should enjoy leading and taking ownership of assigned projects, exhibit good written and verbal communication skills, and can work well in a diverse team environment.
