About the role

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our dynamic team.
  • This role is pivotal in supporting the successful execution of construction projects from inception to completion.
  • The Project Engineer will work closely with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to ensure that all aspects of the project are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and daily reports.
  • Budget & Cost Control: Support cost tracking and forecasting efforts; assist in reviewing invoices and managing procurement processes.
  • Site Visits: Conduct site inspections to assess progress, identify issues, and support field teams when requested.
  • Can manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Support a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience as project engineer or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with pre-construction, scope development and cost estimating.
  • Experience with commercial construction projects.
  • Demonstrate initiative and ownership of assigned tasks and responsibilities.
  • Be available for occasional travel to project sites as needed.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold company values.
  • Understand construction drawings, specifications, and engineering principles.
