About the role
- include preparing animal serum and raw materials, executing antibody purification processes in accordance with SOPs, and performing routine Western blot analysis to ensure product quality.
- The role will focus on protein manipulation and formulation, buffer preparation, and accurate documentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine Western blot analyses to assess antibody performance against defined quality standards.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow and achievement of team objectives in a fast-paced lab environment.
- Support product line development and continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
- Carry out additional laboratory and team-related tasks to support operational needs.
- This position supports the core work of Bio-Techne's brands by contributing to the production and quality validation of antibodies in a commercial laboratory setting.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and handle materials weighing 5-50 lbs.
- Manual dexterity required for laboratory equipment and fine measurement techniques.
- This position requires a bachelor's degree in scientific discipline or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a lab setting in leu of a degree.
- Success in this fast-paced environment requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in standard laboratory techniques, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members while managing multiple projects and contributing to product development initiatives.
- Education and Experience:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Attention to details and an ability to perform at a high-level accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Working Conditions:
- Work performed in a laboratory and production environment with exposure to chemicals, reagents, and standard lab equipment.
Skills
- Knowledge of general lab techniques.
- Ability to handle repetitive complex tasks efficiently.
- Ability to plan, organize and multi-task to complete assignments in an efficient manner.
- Ability to act independently on routine assignments or projects.
- Ability to communicate professionally, both oral and written.

Compensation
- $40,300.00 - $66,250.00 Position Summary:
