About the role

  • Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is looking for a Practice Receptionist to join our Family Medicine Team!
  • The Practice receptionist provides indirect patient care in the medical office setting as the front office receptionist.
  • Major Job Duties & Responsibilities Demonstrates the communication standard of conduct by clearly conveying information and ideas through appropriate mechanisms in a way that engages people and helps them understand and retain the message.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates the patient centered standard of conduct by making patients and their needs a primary focus of one's actions; developing and sustaining productive patient relationships.
  • Retrieve all faxed documents and work appropriately and timely and handles all incoming mail and distribution daily.

Requirements

  • To help ensure a safe and healthful working environment, each applicant to whom an offer of employment has been made will be required as a condition of employment to undergo a substance test.
  • Additional pre-employment items may be required.

  • Participates in monthly staff meetings, training sessions and annual education sessions, disaster drills, etc...
